They damn well better give you something or that place would have erupted!

Thank you, thank you very much.

The contest was fun, though it was strange that there were four people singing "Suspicious Minds." In past years, everyone had to sing a different song.

By the way, here was the gist of the argument:

I said that the singular of Elvis (as an impersonator) was "Elvum" and plural was "Elvii." Judge Number 3 said, "No, no, it's Elvis and Elvises." She was pretty snooty, so that's why she got the punch-bowl on her head.

What's anger management, by the way? I've never heard of such a thing.

Yay! Way to go, pal. But, what's wrong with Suspicious Minds? I love that song. By Elvis AND by Dwight Yokum. Like 'em so much, I have both versions on my machine, here. Know most of the words by heart.

Hey, keep the punch flowin' buddy. Judges need a dose of reality, sometimes. And, would you mind if I had half of one of your sandwiches?

Friday:
Nothing's wrong with "Suspicious Minds!" It's a good song. The first three times I heard it in the evening, I was delighted. By the fourth time, though, I was a bit miffed. There are SO MANY Elvis songs. Spread the wealth a little!

I have class until 5 every day this week, but the RnR hall of fame is closed at 5pm this time of year. Otherwise, I'd get you a really cool souvenier...yeah, souvenier.

I love "Suspicious Minds". When I heard it as a young monkey, I thought it was about 2 lobsters and it made me cry. I also became a vegetarian.
