Exciting news! My cousin Philomena is going join the Pacific Northwest Ballet in its 2006 production of Nutcracker. She will play the Sugar Plum Fairy. I attended one of her performances last year when she was Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty. Here is a photo of me visiting Philomena backstage in the Green Room:
Yes, Philomena is bigger than I am. At 450 lbs, I am one of the smallest gorillas in my family. Perhaps that is why I am so surly.

Amazing family resemblence buddy. I'd almost go so far as to say that's just you in a dress. But I know you'd never put a dress on so it must be your cousin.
She looks LOVELY! And my my, that room is indeed, green.
Nonny: Now, that's just silly. How can that be me in a dress when I'm sitting right next to Philomena?
Nice cape and saber, by the way.
Monkey: Philomena makes our family proud, thank you. And that room is even greener than my Landlady's bedroom, if you can believe that.
Brad ~ The Nutcracker is probably one of my favorite ballets. I'm sure she will be the star of the performance!
Philomena has the exact same solemn, no-nonsense facial expression that you have. Nothing funny about a gorilla doing ballet.
Let's just hope they have reinforced the stage - preferably with tempered steel bars to prevent your cousin plunging beneath. Gorillas are hardly dainty creatures are they? I think she'd be better off signing up to play for a British Rugby League team. Leave the ballet to slender ladies of the human variety!
Lady K: I wish you could see her perform! I wish I had a video camera. Oh well, we'll have to settle for stills... for now.
Ulric: Ballet is serious business. Long hours, bloody toes, grueling workouts followed by horrific mental abuse... fortunately, Philomena brooks no such nonsense.
Mr Pudding Dainty schmainty! This is the PNW. Unlike your wee delicate Eur-Asian ballerinas, the ballet dancers of the PNW are rugged and hardy. They can do ballet in lumber-jack boots if they so desire.

This is your old friend and accomplice dropping by to say Hi. I am angry to say that I like what you've done with your site.
