Probably not a knuckle-walker...

Today's headline:

Not drunk? Maybe, but did you see the gorilla?

People who imbibed only enough to reach half the legal limit for intoxication still were more than twice as likely as non-drinkers to miss spotting a person dressed up as a gorilla in a visual test.

This is just a quick post in-between sound-checks. Deadbeat Crawdads is playing at the Washington Banana Museum today. Hope you can make it!

Sounds like a load of bananas to me! Who are the other members of this fantasy band? Curtis the Donkey, Wayne the Armadillo, Fred the Naked Mole Rat...?

Mr Pudding: So, you HAVE heard of us befored! "Curtis the Donkey" is actually a talented bassist named Kurt Donque, and our drummer, "Wayne the Armadillo" Watson got his moniker because he's originally from Texas. Wait until you hear his drum solos! He's a wild-man, that Wayne.

Now, "Fred the Naked Mole Rat" is just silly. It's a good thing Frederica Molesworth-Rattner (lead guitarist) has a sense of humor.

THE DEADBEAT CRAWDADS ARE BACK!

That's the best news I've heard in months. I hope your planning on adding some of their t-shirts for sale.

I am SO gonna try walking through the office (as well as the warehouse) with my clown wig on, just to see what happens. VERY interesting, but TRUE, I'm sure.

That study cracked me up! Extra ruffles of your fur for YOU, mister!

Wasn't there a song in the '70's that went something like, "So they call me mellow yellow..."? Did you invent that catchphrase, Brad? I bet you weren't old enough.
